Meet The Team

The Team...

Our dedicated team of Early Years Educators are passionate about providing a nurturing and enriching environment for all children at The Lenches Pre-School.

We follow the Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage, our committed staff create engaging activities and play-based learning opportunities that stimulate children's curiosity and enthusiasm for learning from an early age.

Our range of activities and opportunities for children aim to enhance their communication and language skills, physical abilities, as well as developing personal, social, and emotional growth.  Focussing on key areas such as literacy, mathematics, understanding the world, and expressive arts and design, children form strong relationships at the Lenches Pre-school, both with their peers and with our staff, enhancing a sense of belonging and community.

The Lenches Pre-School is committed to providing a safe and stimulating space for children to thrive and reach their full potential.

I'm Emma

Manager

Designated Safeguarding Lead

SENDCo

"I am level 3 qualified with level 3 SEND and have around 8 years of experience within the early years, and I'm a big believer in letting children be children and learn through their play. This will promote their social and communication skills, teach them how to problem solve, and learn respect for each other and the world around us. Every child should be given the same opportunities regardless of ability. It's our job to adapt experiences to suit each child individually. I personally love messy/sensory play and will always head for the glue and glitter, gloop, or the mud and water!!!!
Outside of pre-school, you'll usually find me spending time with my family or in my resident season ticket seat at the football!!"

I'm Sam

Deputy Manager

Early Years Practitioner

"I am level 3 practitioner and have worked with children for over 15 years in a variety of settings, my favourites being forest school based.
I’m a strong believer in encouraging children to connect with life’s real playground ‘the great outdoors' and I love nothing better than packing a picnic and heading off on an adventure.
Being outdoors is a fantastic way to learn, it supports great mental health and it’s full of excitement and wonder. The location and opportunities at the Lenches Preschool are amazing. If I were a child I’d definitely want to go there!
Outside of pre-school I enjoy countryside walks and my garden."

EARLY YEARS PRACTITIONER

DEputy Designated safeguarding lead

Christina has been with The Lenches Pre-school since March 2023. "I am a very enthusiastic person, happy and passionate about working with little people. I have a degree diploma in Engineering sector, but I realised later that working with children it is my passion. Recently, I finished my level 2 Early Years qualification, and I am very pleased. I enjoy all my time at the Pre-school from morning opening door, when I can see the little beautiful smiles, until the end of the day, when I receive my goodbye cuddles. Singing, reading stories, playing through the activities with the children, spending time outside, and taking care of the little people it is my happiness. I spend the rest of the day with my family, having lots of adventures together, reading, cooking, having holidays or weekends by the coast."

"I joined The Lenches Pre school in June 2025 and felt right at home straight away. I'm proud to be part of the team and feel very lucky to spend my days supporting the children as they grow, learn, and explore the world around them. The relationships we build with the children and their families make this role so meaningful.
Outside of pre-school, I enjoy spending my time with my family, catching up with friends, and walking my very energetic dog. " Leanne
