Forest School

Not All Classrooms Have Four Walls!

Forest School sessions are held in a dedicated forest school setting in Yates’ Community Orchard in Church Lench village. The Orchard is just a short walk from Pre-School and follows a public footpath.

Forest School runs during term time and during holiday club is open to children who attend Pre-school.  Our sessions run twice a week on Tuesday and Friday..

Yate's Community Orchard gives children many wonderful outdoor learning opportunities.  With so many fruit trees on offer, during Autumn we are lucky enough to enjoy tasting apples, plums and pears.  Children will learn how to build dens, use tools and equipment safely, play at the mud kitchen, build fires safely and learn how to cook whilst enjoying tasty treats!
